Del “%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\\Application Data\\Microsoft\\Network\\Downloader\\qmgr*.dat”
This will delete qmgr*.dat files.
Step 5: Now, copy and paste the cd /d %windir%\\system32 command and press Enter key to execute the command.
Step 6: In order to re-register BITS and Windows Update files, you need to type all the below-given commands separately. Press Enter key after each of them
Step 7: In order to reset Winsock, type and run below given commands (Press Enter after each one)
netsh winsock reset
netsh winhttp reset proxy
Step 8: At last, reboot BITS, Windows Update, Cryptographic, MSI Installer services by executing the following commands:
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start appidsvc
net start cryptsvc
