Method 1: Clear & Reset Windows Store Cache in Windows 10 / 8.1

It is simple to reset Windows store, Press Windows+R to open run dialogue box and type command to open command prompt, open Command prompt as administrator. In the command prompt enter WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Step 1: Go to the Start Screen and type in WSReset.exe

Method 2: Repair or turn on Microsoft Edge extensions in Windows 10 Anniversary Update

  • powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\ImmersiveControlPanel\AppxManifest.xml

Warning:  Windows 10 version 1511 (build 10586.36) contains some well-known issues with the following PowerShell command. So it is  recommended to avoid this solution if you are using Windows 10 build 10586.36!

How to verify Windows version information: Open Start menu-> type winver and click the result.
