How to Disable Auto-Download of Windows 10 Upgrade on Windows 8 And 7
Windows 10 comes into the market with lots of latest technology and features, so that users upgrading their PC to Windows 10. Microsoft made whole upgrading task very easy by making downloading of the new OS automatic. But there are lots of user that are happy with their previous version of Windows OS and don’t want to upgrade their computer /laptop to Windows 10.
Let us consider that you have limited data connection or metered data connection, and upgrading gets starts automatically, this is such a worst situation for the user because it wastes all the bandwidth by downloading unwanted updates. Upgrading to Windows 10 may costs you gigabytes of data, because Windows 10 update is huge approx multiple GBs and not for the people that are using a limited connection.
So the main point is how to prevent automatic downloading of the Windows 10 update, simply disable it. Guide to block upgrading to Windows 10:
Step 1: Find and click on the Programs and Features in Control Panel.
Step 2: At the left side, you will get the option to see installed updates. Click on that.
Step 3: After it, you have to locate the specific updates that necessary to be uninstalled. Their numbers execute differently under Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Step 4: Right-click each of the above updates based on your current OS, and choose uninstall. Now you have to restart your computer. It is recommended to put that off until all the required ones is uninstalled, after it again restart your computer to finish the whole process.
